Career Ready

What does it mean to be Career Ready? 

Students at the School District of Beloit Turner are considered Career Ready when they have identified a career interest and meet two of the behavioral and experiential benchmarks listed below. For your reference,click here to view the Redefining Ready! summary of the indicators.

Students begin their career exploration journey in middle school and by the end of 8th grade, each student has developed a career plan. Students are then setup for success as they explore and pursue one of our career pathways offered in the high school.

The importance of attendance cannot be understated. "Showing up" is a skill that is required in any career. It is also important for students to be at school so they can get the most out of their school experiences.

Dual CreditDual Credit Career Pathway Course 


At Turner High School, we have built dual credit career pathway courses into a student's regular course progression so that the large majority of students earn post-secondary credits before graduation.

Students are encouraged to engage in activities beyond the classroom. We offer a wide variety of co-curricular activities and strive to have something for everyone.
